The lodge serves as a field base for researchers working in the Meghauli sector. We provide accommodation, guide support, community connections, and access to long-term observational data.
The Meghauli sector is one of the most productive areas of Chitwan National Park for large mammal research and is notably underrepresented in the published literature compared to the more frequently studied Sauraha sector.
Our position directly on the Rapti River boundary, combined with the community relationships our team has built over decades, gives researchers a level of access that is difficult to replicate elsewhere in the park.
