Are there ATMs in Meghauli?

No. There are no ATMs or money exchange facilities in Meghauli. Please withdraw cash or exchange currency in Bharatpur (20 min away) or Narayanghat (25 min away) before arriving at the lodge.

Can I pay everything online before arriving?

You can pay your 30% deposit online via Stripe or PayPal. The balance can also be settled online if you prefer — just let us know when booking.

Do you charge a credit card surcharge?

No surcharge is added for card payments via Stripe or PayPal. Standard processing fees are absorbed by the lodge.

What exchange rate do you use for cash?

We use the Nepal Rastra Bank daily rate for all foreign currency cash payments. We do not add a markup. We recommend checking the rate in advance at nrb.org.np.

I want to pay in a currency not listed — is that possible?

Other currencies (GBP, CAD, SEK, etc.) may be accepted — please contact us in advance and we will confirm. Online payments via Stripe and PayPal support most major world currencies.

Is my online payment secure?

Yes. We use Stripe and PayPal — both are PCI DSS Level 1 certified. Your card details are never stored on our servers. All transactions use SSL encryption.

What happens if I need to cancel?

Cancellations 30+ days before arrival receive a full deposit refund. Within 15–29 days, 50% is refunded. Less than 15 days, the deposit is non-refundable. See our Policies page for full details.
