“We as a family with two children (5 and 1.5) enjoyed our stay at the Bamboo Lodge. We liked the delicious fresh cooked food. The bamboo huts are authentic and staying at the campfire in the evening was fun. We saw peacock, kingfisher and jackal at the fields surrounding the lodge. We did a jeep safari in the morning and one in the afternoon, boating and ox cart ride. All was managed nicely.”

“I really loved my stay at the Chitwan Bamboo Lodge. I was so happy there! It's so peaceful and quiet there, the perfect getaway! Ram and his family are so sweet and nice — they immediately make you feel at ease and at home. The food is fresh and delicious, and the environment so beautiful! Their part of the jungle is the best part to see wildlife, and they are the only ones that offer a whole day jungle walk with very experienced guides. I definitely go back there!”
“When one of our guides suggested spending some time in Chitwan we didn't really know how lucky we were to choose this specific place. Your family helped us with everything. We had a jeep trip to the jungle for the best sunset ever, a sunrise walk around the village, a bath with Angelie the local elephant, a boat trip with crocodiles, and plenty of other exciting events. Dhai, Aita, Arun and other family members did whatever they could to make us feel safe, welcome and happy. Thanks to the people it became a hidden paradise for us.”
“So much fun at the Bamboo Lodge! I stayed 2 nights, 3 days by myself. Bathing with elephant, then all modes of transportation in the jungle: elephant ride, canoe ride, a whole day walking in the jungle tracking a tiger, and a jeep ride. The hike was by far the most fun. Elephants, rhinos, monkeys, crocodiles, peacocks, eagles, and so many colourful birds were seen. The lodge itself is very comfortable and clean and the food quite good. It was one of my nicest stays in Nepal.”

It was a very spontaneous decision to go to Chitwan and the whole staff managed the situation very professionally. The walk through the wild sanctuary was extraordinary — we were surprised to see so many rhinos, crocodiles and so many deer thanks to our guide who really is a scout in nature.
