Our lodge is positioned in the Meghauli sector of Chitwan — a stretch of floodplain grassland and riverine forest that supports one of the highest concentrations of greater one-horned rhinos in Nepal. Sightings on our dedicated rhino tracking walks are nearly guaranteed.
Our guides track rhino movements daily and know the favoured feeding areas, wallows, and movement corridors. On a tracking walk you learn to read signs — footprints, dung piles, grass trails — before the animal itself comes into view.
All encounters are conducted at safe and respectful distances. We never approach rhinos in a way that stresses the animal — our guides are trained in ethical wildlife interaction.
