A structured 4-12 week placement combining hands-on work with learning — in eco-tourism operations, conservation practice, or community development. Certificate awarded on completion.
The internship program is designed for students and recent graduates who want substantive, CV-worthy experience in eco-tourism, conservation, or community development. It is structured, mentored, and outcome-focused.
Interns work across their chosen focus area and rotate through related activities to build a rounded picture of how a sustainable lodge operation functions in practice. Weekly reflections and monthly meetings with the lodge manager ensure learning objectives are being met.
Accommodation and all meals are provided throughout the placement. A completion certificate is issued at the end of the internship.
